Sarah Algozino’s love of performing whether it was singing, acting or dancing started at a young age and she has been hooked ever since; it has awakened her great passion for the teaching performing arts. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Ottawa with a Major in theatre and a minor in music and has a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University in intermediate/ senior level drama and vocal music. She is an occasional high school teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board. Sarah has been working with OYP theatre school for 7 years as a teacher, choreographer and teaching assistant. Sarah has performed in a variety of shows through school, community and other theatre productions as an actor, singer and dancer. She has trained in dance and has discovered a great love for choreography. As a choreographer she has had a range of opportunities. In addition to performing she has experience in stage managing and worked on the production side of theatre in lighting and costumes. In her free time Sarah loves playing guitar and mandolin, country music and horseback riding.
