2010-2011 Theatre Camps

OYP Theatre School teaches theatre by doing theatre. All camps end with a performance onstage with lights, costumes, sound and a great deal of fun! Monday through Thursday students will work and PLAY in the OYPTS Studio learning about drama and theatre as they prepare for their performance which will take place on the Friday. All summer camp performances take place in the Shenkman Arts Centre Richcraft Theatre on Friday. Bring all your friends and relations! To help us cover costs, a donation of $5 is suggested and please bring a non-perishable food item donation to the Orleans-Cumberland Resource Centre.

Summer Camps 2011:

Let’s Play!(ages 6-8):
Let’s Play July – July 4-8, 2011; $250
Let’s Play August – Aug 2-5, 2011; $225 (4-day camp)
Let’s Play August – Aug. 29-Sep 2, 2011; $250

JUNIOR CAMPS (ages 9-11):
Showtime JR – July 4-8, 2011; $250
JR Shakespeare – July 18-22, 2011; $250
Showtime JR – July 25-29; $250
JR Musical – July 25 – Aug 5, 2011; $500 (2-week camp)
JR Improv + Mask – Aug 8-12, 2011; $250

SENIOR CAMPS (ages 12-16):
Showtime SR – July 11-15, 2011; $250 (2 camps in same time-frame)
SR Shakespeare – July 18-22, 2011; $250
SR Musical – Aug 8-19, 2011; $500 (2-week camp)
SR Improv + Mask – Aug 15-19, 2011; $250

Locations

All camps run from 9am-4pm in the OYP Theatre School Studios in the new Shenkman Arts Centre, located at 245 Centrum Blvd., Orleans.

Early drop-off and late pick-up is available for an additional fee of $10.00 per week (drop off OR pick-up) and 20.00 per week (BOTH early and late). Spaces are limited; please feel free to call 613.580.2764 or email administrator@oypts.ca if you have any questions.
