Class descriptionsAdvanced Acting (ages 15+)
The advanced acting class will devise an ensemble based creation using Physical theatre techniques such as Comedia, Clown, and bouffon. Play creation without a playwright! The students will be travelling players, presenting their work at the Ottawa Fringe and Lumiere Festivals, in city parks, high schools and other venues. Students will create their performance pieces based on class work, and performance commitments will be matched with student availability. Taught by Scott Florence and guest instructors, entrance to the class will require special registration through the Artistic Director.
